THE RECLAIMED LEATHER FOOTSTOOL

This bespoke leather footstool has been handcrafted in the Kate Morris Studio using carefully selected offcuts of high-quality leather. Designed as a considered response to material waste, the patchwork construction transforms what would otherwise be discarded into a distinctive and characterful statement piece.

Each leather panel has been individually cut and stitched together to create a subtle grid pattern across the surface, celebrating the natural variations in tone and texture that make leather such a beautiful and enduring material. The result is a one-of-a-kind footstool that could not be replicated in a single hide.

Finished with solid wooden legs and traditional upholstery techniques, this piece is as practical as it is sculptural – equally suited to use as a footstool, occasional seat, or low side table.
