Returns Policy (Online Purchases)

This returns policy applies to items purchased through the Kate Morris Studio online shop only. Commissioned upholstery work and bespoke pieces are covered separately and are not eligible for return.

Eligibility for Returns

We hope you are happy with your purchase. If for any reason you wish to return an item, please notify us within 14 days of receipt.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in their original condition
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • One-of-a-kind upholstered furniture pieces
  • Bespoke, made-to-order, or personalised items
  • Fabric sold by the metre

One-of-a-kind upholstered furniture pieces are individually made in our studio and are sold as seen. Due to their unique nature, these items are not eligible for return. We encourage customers to review all measurements, descriptions, and images carefully before purchasing.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please email hello@katemorris.studio within 14 days of receiving your order, including your order number and the reason for return. We will confirm whether the return is approved and provide return instructions.

Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect
  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit

Refunds

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7–10 working days.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs. We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
