Fully restored, traditionally upholstered. 

A rare and exceptional Victorian ironback chair, fully restored and traditionally re-upholstered to the highest standard. The original frame has been professionally repaired and strengthened by a carpenter to ensure long-term structural integrity, before being carefully rebuilt from the frame up using traditional upholstery techniques.

The chair is upholstered in a luxurious printed velvet inspired by antique carpet designs, perfectly complementing the warmth and character of the original wood. Deeply comfortable and beautifully proportioned, this piece combines historical craftsmanship with contemporary textile design.

This chair was created as a final project for a Level 3 Diploma in Upholstery and was awarded a Distinction, reflecting the quality of workmanship and attention to detail throughout.
