This striking vintage chair has been completely transformed in the Kate Morris Studio, becoming a bold statement piece that blurs the line between furniture and functional art.
The original wooden frame has been carefully prepared and repainted by hand in a vivid cobalt blue, creating a contemporary contrast against the chair’s classic silhouette. The seat has been fully reupholstered using a richly coloured botanical velvet, chosen for its graphic impact and luxurious texture, and finished with decorative trim for a refined, tailored edge.
Every element of this piece has been considered — from colour and proportion to material and finish — resulting in a chair designed not just to be used, but to be noticed.
This is a true one-off: the exact combination of frame, colour and fabric cannot be replicated.
