SEA SPRAY FOOTSTOOL
A simple but effective update to a footstool, adding the finishing touches to a newly decorated room. Initially it appeared that the underlying upholstery was in good condition, but once the top fabric was removed it became clear the structure had become saggy over time.
New webbing was applied to restore support, the existing foam was re-used, and the piece was re-upholstered in this beautiful woven fabric from Holland Tapestry. With some spare fabric available, matching scatter cushions were the perfect finishing detail.
Work carried out:
- Removed existing top fabric
- Assessed underlying upholstery
- Applied new webbing to restore support
- Re-used existing foam
- Re-upholstered footstool
- Made matching scatter cushions
Fabric used: Holland Tapestry Fabric in Sea Spray.
This was a customer commission. If you have a chair or piece of furniture you’d like restored or reupholstered, I’d love to discuss your project. Please get in touch to talk through options and fabrics.
