WINGBACK CHAIR
A classic wingback that had previously belonged to my customer's parents. Like many original wingback chairs, it had begun to feel a little dated, but remained one of the most comfortable and well-loved chairs in the home. We had a lot of fun looking over the different options for fabric. They were open to exploring fabrics they might not have considered themselves, guided by my recommendations. The final choice was a beautiful soft wool and silk blend from Bute Fabrics, which brings a contemporary feel while retaining the chair’s classic form.
Work carried out:
– Removal of original upholstery
– New wool and silk blend upholstery
– Wood cleaned and refreshed
Fabric used: Clan in Forbes from Bute Fabrics.
