OFFICE CHAIR
A very special chair that belonged to my customer's late father-in-law. It was important to retain the essence and character of the chair, while giving it a more contemporary feel that would sit comfortably in their newly renovated home. The original foam was replaced with Ultraflex for improved comfort and longevity, and the leather replaced with wool from Abraham Moon. The wooden base was sanded back and refinished, with new castors added for smooth movement and everyday use.
Work carried out:
– Removal of original leather upholstery
– Replacement foam (Ultraflex)
– New wool upholstery from Abraham Moon
– Base sanded and refinished
– New castors fitted
Fabric used:
- Main fabric: Deepdale Herringbone in Natural
- Piping fabric: Donegal in Evergreen.
Both from Abraham Moon.
