HARRODS ARMCHAIR
Big enough for two to snuggle up in, this armchair had been well loved for many years and held strong sentimental value for its owners. Even in its worn condition, they were reluctant to part with it, and instead chose to have it professionally restored. Originally part of larger suite from Harrods, this was the only surviving piece. The existing upholstery was removed back to the foam, which was carefully assessed and found to be in excellent condition. A beautiful jacquard fabric in the style of William Morris was selected. The art deco floral pattern suited this chair perfectly. The chair is now ready for many more cosy afternoons of reading and drinking tea.
Work carried out:
– Removal of original upholstery
– Foam assessed and retained
– Wool guard layer added
– New fabric applied
Fabric used: iLiv - Tiffany in Prussian.
