FLORAL ARMCHAIR
This armchair was reupholstered and transformed from a loose-covered piece into a beautifully finished, fixed-upholstery chair.
A sentimental piece passed down from a relative, it deserved to be carefully refreshed while retaining its original character. The existing foam was assessed and found to be in excellent condition, so it was retained and protected with a wool guard layer before applying the new fabric. The finished chair has a beautifully pictorial quality, with the floral design enhanced by the contrasting piping, which adds definition and a crisp finishing touch.
