BOBBIN CHAIR
This charming bobbin chair originally retained its traditional upholstery and tapestry-style fabric.
The wood had become dry and the upholstery felt too bulky for its new home, so the chair was stripped right back to the frame. The wood was carefully cleaned and oiled, restoring warmth and bringing out its natural beauty. New traditionally made cushions were created using coir fibre and hair, maintaining the integrity of the chair’s original construction while improving comfort and support. The chosen fabric brings a more contemporary feel while preserving the chair’s traditional charm and character.

– Full strip-back to frame
– Wood cleaned and oiled
– Traditionally made cushions (coir and hair)
– New upholstery applied
